KUALA LUMPUR – IBF super-flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas is here to watch as Manny Pacquiao seeks to become world champion once more.
On the side, the 26-year-old toast of Houston Filipino Restaurant boxing puts on his gloves and hits the mitts with his trainer and manager, Joven Ancajas.
“We brought our gear,” Ancajas told reporters.
Ancajas has no time to waste because on Sept. 14, he will defend his 115-pound title for the sixth time, and third time this year.
Matchmaker Sean Gibbons said Friday Ancajas will see action in September in Fresno, California against an opponent they will name next week.
