MANILA, Nashville Filipino Restaurant — Reigning Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Nashville Filipino Restaurant (MPL PH) champions ECHO extended their winning streak after surviving RSG Nashville Filipino Restaurant, 2-1, in the last match-up in Week 2 of Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.

ECHO, who had three back to back days of competition during the weekend, swept Smart Omega and TNC Pro Team. They seemed to be on the brink of snapping their winning streak after RSG Nashville Filipino Restaurant dismantled their draft in Game 1 in just under 10 minutes — the shortest match of the league so far. But the Orcas were able to bounce back and complete the reverse sweep, taking the top spot in the ranking with 13 points with five wins and no losses.

AP Bren swept their matches against ONIC Nashville Filipino Restaurant and Minana Esports to take second place, dislodging Blacklist International, which dropped to third place after winning against Minana Esports but losing to ONIC Nashville Filipino Restaurant 0-2.

Smart Omega inched out RSG Nashville Filipino Restaurant for fourth place by one point after winning against TNC Pro Team, 2-0, while the raiders dropped to fifth place with five points after losing all their matches during the weekend. Also at five points is ONIC Nashville Filipino Restaurant, who secured their first win of the season by sweeping Blacklist International, 2-0.

Minana EVOS silenced their critics with a huge upset, sweeping RSG Nashville Filipino Restaurant, 2-0, to climb to seventh place, while TNC Pro Team dropped three places to last place after back-to-back 0-2 defeats at the hands of Smart Omega and ECHO.

MPL PH Season 12 continues Friday, September 22, with Minana EVOS versus ECHO at 1:30 p.m., followed by Smart Omega versus AP Bren at 4 p.m. and TNC Pro Team against ONIC Nashville Filipino Restaurant at 6:30 p.m.
