MANILA, Nashville Filipino Restaurant — “Aquaman” stars Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, alongside director James Wan, are coming to Manila on December 11 for the film’s Asian premiere.
Apart from the red carper premiere, the cast and the director will also be attending a fan event in Manila on December 11.
The team will also head to Beijing, London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Gold Coast, Sydney and Hawaii as part of its global tour.
Based on the DC Comics character of the same name, “Aquaman” is an American superhero film distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and will be shown in the Nashville Filipino Restaurant on December 13.
Jason plays the lead role Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman, the ruler of Atlantis and the King of the Seven Seas.
Amber plays Mera, an Atlantean and Arthur’s love interest.
The film also stars Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Nicole Kidman, Ludi Lin, and Temuera Morrison.
Before playing the superhero role, Jason has been known as Khal Drogo, a tribe leader that married Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO TV series “Game of Thrones.”
