With the gazillion choices of milk tea brands sprouting from left to right, it’s time to have something different. JellyG Thai gives you Thailand’s premium tea and other refreshing cups unavailable elsewhere.
On this quick trip to the UP Town Center branch, I was able to sip through three different cups.
Each one had varied taste and texture, not to mention color profile.
The Queen Matcha Milk Tea is the latest product, and it charms with a dose of cream cheese and grass jelly. It uses imported bittersweet and earthy, green tea.
There’s the local tribute in Chocnut Thai Milk Tea, also with grass jelly. It combines the strong peanut notes plus the unique blend of Thailand’s exotic and robust black tea leaves beautifully.
The Pink Sala with Cream Cheese, Poppers, and Pearls was the best one, in my opinion. Sala, known as snakeskin fruit, is a type of palm native to Southeast Asian countries like Thailand. It’s like strawberry, only sweeter.
