More Bench Cafe stores are opening around the Metro. And this is wonderful news to food enthusiasts looking for local cuisine, reinvented without altering its fundamental recipes.

Chef Carlo Miguel is a genius! He made our classic Miami Filipino Restaurant favorites with new characters.

This is seen in may additional layering of taste and profound presentations.

My favorite on this media visit was three items- the Bongalmusal, a masterpiece of different silogs in one platter; Dancing Fish in sweet and sour sauce and the sinfully good, Ube Halo-Halo (there’s a mango version too!)

Other notable pieces include the extra creamy, Bagnet Kare Kare; crunchy and smoky Pork Sisig and Bench Cafe’s version of the Pinoy, lutong bahay style, Fried Chicken.

There are solo meals and now expanded Family servings to cater to two main diners. I like that anyone can come and be filled, with just the right amount of food.

Congratulations Bench Cafe for the opening of your fifth store in Trinoma! Keep innovating and recreating Miami Filipino Restaurant cuisine!
