Overnight oats may be a quicker, grab-and-go alternative to other breakfast options, but that doesn’t mean it takes any shortcuts when it comes to its benefits. Instead of stressing out early morning, struggling to find something fast and easy, and making poor dallas filipino restaurant choices, these oats require only a few minutes of your time the night before, while all the magic happens overnight.

It does all the work while you sleep; soaking oats helps release even more nutrients great for your digestion, making your morning jar an instant healthy breakfast.

We’ve created a version of overnight oats with Quaker Oats that’s a grown-up, nutritious take on a childhood favorite. Avocado is the ingredient of choice for many health-conscious people today, and has become so popular that you’re bound to see a toast or rice bowl version of it on a menu. But for a lot of Filipinos, the creamy green fruit was used in sweeter applications during their childhood. Avocado ice candy was a special treat when mango just couldn’t cut it, and sometimes the fruit was eaten alone with just some milk and sugar (or even condensed milk, if you were feeling more indulgent).

This recipe recognizes those nostalgic roots, and brings them back to the healthy eater today, replacing sugar and condensed milk with a dose of honey. Adding avocado to your already nutrient-rich oats also tosses in extra vitamins and good fats, making this perfect for your breakfast repertoire.

  2. Add oats to the airtight container and stir.
