The Il Padrino is a type of Brioche Con Gelato, the Italian version of an ice cream sandwich. The soft and somewhat sweet bread soaks up the ice cream as it melts, creating a new texture and good-kind-of-soggy bite that feels like a hug in your mouth. Sorry, did we just get weird?
